[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]Our clients often ask where the name “Raynor Country” comes from. It’s a question we like to answer because it gives us a chance to reminisce with pride about the colorful beginnings of the company we are so proud of today.

In 1896, Fred Raynor opened a grocery store in sleepy Warwick, a beautiful community set in the middle of a lush valley, surrounded by dairy farms and protected by the rolling mountains. It is a peaceful place, with a lifestyle envied even in today’s hustle and bustle world, and it’s a wonderful place to raise a family. The Raynors lived on a dairy farm and many of their products were sold in the store. The business passed from father to son — Wilfred L. Raynor.

Wilfred L. Raynor saw the growth of the valley and in an effort to help it grow in an orderly manner; he opened a real estate office. At first, he worked out of the grocery store, but as time passed and business grew, he expanded to the upper floor of the little grocery and “Raynor Country” began to flourish.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]When Mr. Raynor passed away, his businesses were left in the capable hands of his son, Wilfred L. Raynor, Jr. and Barbara L. White, his associate for over forty-five years and a Broker for over thirty years. Wilfred, Jr. concentrated on the grocery business and Barbara ran the real estate office employing the special qualities she saw, admired and absorbed from Wilfred L. Raynor. Now, Wilfred L. Raynor, Jr. has passed on and Barbara L. White and her daughter, Catherine, are now the sole owners of the real estate business and the historical building it calls home. They will proudly carry on the tradition of “Raynor Country.”

The unique style, the personalized service and the guarantee of satisfaction are what “Raynor Country” is all about. We feel that these special qualities create lifetime relationships with our clients, and that these relationships are far more important than the value of a single sale.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
